1. Your right to request deletion
You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you where we are not required to keep it. We will assess each request in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our other legal obligations.

3. Verifying your identity
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before actioning a deletion request. This helps us make sure we only act on genuine requests.
4. Information we may need to keep
In some cases we are legally required to retain certain information for a period of time — for example, to meet our obligations under credit, anti-money laundering, taxation and financial services laws. Where we cannot delete information for these reasons, we will let you know and will only keep what we are required to keep.
5. Timeframe
We aim to acknowledge your request promptly and to action it within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
6. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
